What Are Cookies?

Cookies are a feature of Web browser software that allows Web servers to recognize the computer used to access a Web site. Cookies are small pieces of data that are stored by a user’s Web browser on the user’s hard drive. Cookies can remember what information a user accesses on one Web page to simplify subsequent interactions with that Web site by the same user or to use the information to streamline the user’s transactions on related Web pages. We do not use these technologies to capture your individual email address or any personally identifying information about you. Data collected by this site is used to:

a. Take and fulfill customer orders

b. Administer and enhance the site and service

How Do We Secure Information Transmissions?

When you send confidential personal credit card information to us on our Web site, a secure server software which we have licensed encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. The information is scrambled en route and decoded once it reaches our Web site. We do not store your financial data on our website or in our server.

Other email that you may send to us may not be secure unless we advise you that security measures will be in place prior to your transmitting the information. For that reason, we ask that you do not send confidential information such as account numbers to us through an unsecured email.

Shipping

Shipping & Handling: At the current time we can only ship products within the United States and to Canada.

When can I expect delivery of my order?

Orders shipped via the ground shipping generally take from 1 to 6 business days (this does not include the day it is picked up, weekend or holidays) to arrive after shipping depending on the distance from our warehouse in Charlotte, NC to the destination.

How can I track my order?

You can track your shipment either by clicking the tracking number in the email that is auto generated and sent by UPS, or alternately, you can enter your tracking number on www.ups.com.

Please note:  Tracking numbers are not active until the package has been picked up from our warehouse and scanned into the carrier’s system. This means that packages generally cannot be tracked for 6 to 12 hours after being shipped. If you attempt to track your shipment after this time and find you are unable to do so, please Contact Us and we’ll be happy to assist you.

May I change the address for my order?

If your order has not yet shipped:  We will do our best to change or correct the shipping address for your order prior to shipping, but because we ship very quickly, this may not be possible no matter how promptly you notify us. For the best chance of the address change occurring prior to shipping, please contact us as soon as possible and provide the order number and the needed change.

If your order has already been shipped to an address in the US: We would be happy to attempt to have the package intercepted and delivered to the corrected address. However, the carriers (UPS and FedEx) charge an additional (per package) intercept fee for this service, which will be charged to your credit card. Any additional charges from the carrier to transport your package from the original address to the new address will be charged to your credit card as well. If you would like us to attempt to intercept the package and have it redirected, and you agree to these charges, please contact us with your request and provide the order number and the address change.

Can I have my order delivered to a P.O. Box address?

We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. We only ship via UPS, and since they do not deliver to P.O. Boxes, we will need a physical address for successful delivery.

What if my shipment arrives damaged?

If you notice a damaged box while the shipping carrier is trying to deliver your order, inspect the contents while the driver is there. Take pictures and call us immediately.

Ordering

Order Submission:  All orders must be placed though the paintcouture.com website. We will not accept phone, fax or email orders. After submitting your order we cannot add or modify items for that order. If you need additional items or quantities you will need to place a new order.

Payment:   Accepted forms of payment Online: Credit Cards (we accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and AMEX). Your card will be charged at the time you place your order. When your order is placed on our website, credit card numbers are encrypted and not stored after your purchase.

Tax Charges: All applicable taxes will be included in the final pricing on the receipt.

Confirmation: When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you a Sales Receipt. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, or we have inadvertently underpriced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Back Orders: If your item is not in stock, you will not be able to order it. The website does not have the ability to handle back orders. You will need to reorder that item when it becomes available.

Damaged / Defective products: If you discover a damaged or defective product please contact us (by phone) immediately.

Shipment Guarantee: If The Couture Collection makes an error in filling your order we will make a refund of the items in question or send the items on the next shipment.

Warranty Policy: The Couture Collection has made every effort to be honest and forthright as to the expectation of its products. Because The Couture Collection has no control over the actual use to which the products are subjected or methods used, The Couture Collection can make no other warranties. The Couture Collection is not responsible for the results obtained and no warranty or guarantee expressed or implied is made with respect thereto.
